Trouble at the Gas Pump?

Blakk Frogg has driven (legally) for nearly two decades and never realized a tiny little secret that all dashboards have kept to themselves for all that time.

Ever get into a new, strange or possibly stolen vehicle and realize that it deperately needed gas? Oh, and to make matters worse, the gas station had lines pointing in every direction from each pump… and you didn’t know WHICH side of the vehicle your gas tank was located on.

Damn. Can’t even see from the side view mirrors, or by craning your neck out the window, which side of the pump to pull up on. Not like you’ll have a chance to turn around at the pump, either, given the size of the lines at each pump.

So… What can you do at a time like this? Put the vehicle in park, get out in the middle of traffic before turning in and quickly scope out the gas tank’s location? Dangerous and stupid.

Try this: Look at the gas gauge and focus on the gas pump symbol near the needle currently pointint at ‘E’. On that pump you will see that the handle on the pump points to one side or the other… and that, dear friends, is the side where you will find the gas tank.

So simple, so easy and so, so convenient that you’d think SOMEone would have told you that by now, right? Well now someone has, so stop your whining. :P
